Rachael Johnson
Rachael comes to the Foreign Policy Initiative with experience in international education development and government affairs. She has worked in the district office of Congressman Jim Cooper (TN-05), the office of Knox County’s Mayor Ragsdale (TN), and most recently on Capitol Hill for Congressman Chuck Fleischmann (TN-03). Prior to moving to the Hill, Rachael worked first as an intern and later as an external affairs assistant with FPI. She earned her BA in Business Management at the American University in Bulgaria, where she also served as the assistant director of the university’s writing center and taught at the English Language Institute in Blagoevgrad.
