Kali McNutt serves as Director of External Affairs at the Foreign Policy Initiative (FPI). Before joining FPI, Kali managed public affairs campaigns for Fortune 100 corporations at DCI Group. In this capacity, she developed communications strategies around complex public policy issues at the local, state and federal levels.
Prior to joining DCI Group, Ms. McNutt worked at the Birmingham International Center, where she assisted the Executive Director, created and managed events, and formed the organization’s Young Professionals Group.
Ms. McNutt has spent extensive time in India and France. In Jodhpur, India, she interned at Gramin Vikas Vigyan Samiti (GRAVIS), an NGO focused on water security and human rights. In Chantilly, France, she interned at RB Presse, where she handled press relations for sporting events across the country.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Cross-Cultural Communications and International Relations from the University of Alabama’s New College.
