FPI Resources on Iran’s Quest for Nuclear Weapons Capability

Following resumed talks between Iran and world powers in Istanbul last weekend, U.S. officials may believe that prospects for a diplomatic solution to halt Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons-making capability have been revived.  Unfortunately, the track record shows that Iran has repeatedly used negotiations with the international community as a shield to buy time and advance its nuclear program.
 
The Foreign Policy Initiative (FPI) is continuing to monitor Iran’s quest for nuclear weapons capability, and believes that the following analyses, op-eds, and blog posts will help policymakers craft their response to the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
