Speaker Biographies

Congressman Adam Kinzinger is the U.S. Representative for the 16th Congressional District of Illinois, a member of the House Energy & Commerce Committee, and a Deputy Republican Whip. In addition, he served on the House Foreign Affairs Committee during the 113th Congress. Having served in the Air Force in both Iraq and Afghanistan, national security is a top priority for Congressman Kinzinger. He has always been a strong supporter of U.S. leadership in the Middle East, and he was among the first members of Congress to call for airstrikes against ISIS. He continues to focus on eradicating this threat overtaking the region.

Josh Rogin is a Bloomberg View columnist who writes about national security and foreign affairs. He has previously worked for The Daily BeastNewsweekForeign Policy magazine, The Washington PostCongressional Quarterly and Asahi Shimbun.
