FPI 2013 Forum cited in Seapower Magazine

Seapower Magazine's John C. Marcario writes:

The United States is in a period where it needs to recalibrate its defense needs, according to Rudy deLeon, the former deputy secretary of defense under President George W. Bush.

"This is a very dynamic and challenging time," deLeon said Oct. 22 during the American Foreign Policy Initiative Forum at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium.

The current budget climate is a complicated and chaotic process and the rest of the world will not stop as the United States tries to get it right, he said.
